The Brit Awards 2025, London: Hugh

Where am I – a truly once in a lifetime invitation to the Brit Awards.

Who we saw – everyone! From Charli XCX to Lenny Kravitz. Amazing performances including JADE, Sabrina Carpenter, Teddy Swims and Myles Smith - viewed from our VIP front row seats. An unforgettable night out at London’s O2 Arena - all thanks to Cash Passport Mastercard (the major sponsor of the night.)

London Highlight(s) – The Brits were the main event of course, but we also got to spend some quality time in one of my all time favourite cities - revisting old haunts and favourite spots, as well as checking out things missed on previous visits. Repeat trips were made across the river to the Borough Market (when there, join the queue at the Ginger Pig for the best sausage roll you’ve ever had!) The whole market is massively busy and quite overwhelming, so would recommend getting in early unless you don’t mind a bit of bedlam.

Finally made the trek up to Primrose Hill to see for myself the iconic view of the city - as featured in Bridget Jones, and Paddington! And

One of my favourite meals was a veritable Indian feast at Dishoom Covent Garden (don’t be put off by the queue around the block, it’s well worth the effort.) And the Seven Dials indoor market was another fun spot for a more casual selection of bars and restaurants - essentially a glam food hall, in a really charming little corner of town.

Perhaps not on everybody’s tourist radar, but I really enjoyed a walk around the Barbican Centre, a sprawling purpose built performing arts precinct and icon of the Brutalist architectural movement.

Also ticked off all the usual bucket list draw cards like the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. They never get old!

We even managed to squeeze in a visit to both Stongehenge and Windsor Castle - on a fun day out hosted by Trafalgar. Blessed with the most perfect, sunny winters day it was so nice to spend time at each - and because it was very much outside the normal tourist season, we had each of these massive attractions very nearly all to ourselves.
