What a gorgeous property! We loved their focus on connection with the local Crete community (93% of the staff are from the island.) Located just a short walk from the bijou fishing village of Plaka and a little further afield (10mins by car), to the elegant port of Elounda.
Partake in some gourmet delights from the field-to-table Phaea Farmers Feast pop-up restaurant (where you can dine around a communal table in the organic garden), to refined Greek cuisine at Anthós. Or be lucky enough to sample some carefully guarded family recipes at the Blue Door Taverna, set in a traditional fisherman’s stone cottage.
