Favourite travel experience
There are many but a favourite is a trip to Sri Lanka. This enchanting country offers so much in one area - stunning coastlines, ruins, ancient cities, lush tea plantations and exotic wildlife parks. A highlight was a train journey from Kandy with breathtaking views as the train winds through the mountains overlooking the vast tea plantations.
ABOUT ME
I was born in the Portuguese island of Madeira. My first time on a plane was as a child when my family moved to Australia. From that first plane trip, I knew I wanted to travel.
I have worked in the travel industry for almost 30 years ( in between having our 3 children). During my travel career I have worked in wholesale, retail, leisure and corporate travel.
Family holidays are always special for me and a way to experience rich and diverse cultures.
On my travel radar
I would love to experience an African safari adventure. Also on my radar is a trip on the Blue Train, one of the worlds great rail journeys.
