FAVOURITE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
So many! Perhaps gliding through the Okavango Delta in a dug out Mokoro – the perfect way to combine safari with the most unforgettable sunset. Or reaching the Cape Horn, Chile after four days spent navigating through some of the most remote wilderness imaginable.
ABOUT ME
I was born in Wales and grew up between the UK and Australia – so back in the day we travelled pretty extensively. European holidays really sparked my imagination with long road trips through the French countryside and the Swiss Alps.
I turned a love of travel in to my profession over a decade ago and when traveling myself I like to combine the quirky (I’ve stayed in old prisons, Mongolian Yurts, Japanese Capsule hotels…through to over-water Maldivian villas) with a healthy mix of art, architecture and history (which I studied at uni.)
ON MY TRAVEL RADAR
As always, the list is seemingly never ending :) Definitely vying for top spot would be Morocco and Sri Lanka. I’m also really keen to one day soon rebook the Trans Siberian (China to Russia), a dream trip which was meant to take place in 2020 and was put on ice due the pandemic. That one could be a little longer on the backburner. But as soon as possible!
